This is a space to share crew camaraderie and put a face to the names people see at the end of film credits. Our film families-sharing a bit of heart, hard work, and humour.

I would love to have film crew continue to contribute fun photos, keeping in mind we must abide by confidentiality agreements, not showing specific sets without permission.

    Multi-talented Celia Jaspers has over 25 years of experience working on NZ film and television projects. Lucky me she has agreed to a pod cast in the New Year to talk about her work and passion for story telling. Film projects she has worked of over the years include : Blade Runner 2049, Mulan, Power of the Dog, Pearl, Sweet Tooth, Wolf Man, Avatar: The Way of Water, and more.

    I remember working with Lucy on her first film gig, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. She was keen to try and learn anything, and was hardworking. Many film projects later ( which included the Hobbit trilogy and more) Lucy worked her way to Paint Lead on an Avatar sequel and on ‘Time Bandits’(TV). Next up Gollum. Her talented sisters have jumped on board the film train too.

    Kate also has a background in the paint department and art directing. She is a great photogrpaher who has contributed candid shots to the book “The Reel Deal: Real Talent, Tips, and Tales- a journey through the New Zealand film community”. Kate has worked on : Poppy, Pearl, Mortal Engines, Time Bandits, Ghost in the Shell, and more.

    One of my all time favorite people to work with, She is extremely talented and sought after.     Simon is a NZ Art Director who has been on nearly every large production in Wellington ( going back to Lord of the Rings).     CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

    Always glad to give a hand. Brett is also a wonderful photographer who has contributed many candid crew photos to the book “The Reel Deal”. Brett has been in high demand for many years, going back to Peter Jacksons early years on The Frightners. He went on to work on all ‘The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit’ movies, Avatar and the sequels, Ghost in the Shell, Wolf Man, The Water Horse, and more.
