A spin-off from my book The Reel Deal: Real Talent, Tips and Tales, the podcast focuses on students and anyone interested in joining the screen industry, sharing career journeys, practical advice, behind-the-scenes stories, and lessons learned from people working across film and television.

Today, we are interviewing David Mooy, who is a visual FX and 3D modeller. David has over 30 years of experience working in the industry. He has worked on a vast array of film projects over those years that include live-action films such as Inspector Gadget, Unbreakable, Bicentennial Man, Gone in 60 seconds, Mission to Mars, Star Trek: Insurrection, Aliens 3, and Flubber…just to name a few. He has also been a part of creating some of my daughter's and my all-time favourite animations, like  Tangled and Chicken Little. Bolt, and  Meet the Robinsons
